Adult Education

We've met on front porches, backyards, under trees, and in a dahlia garden. And yes, Zoom is still regarded as a meaningful way to offer adult learning to a wider audience. In fact, pastor offers a weekly study on Thursdays of the upcoming Sunday gospel. 

Zooming opportunities aside, members still seem to relish the idea of face-to-face togetherness in a cozy room on a weekday afternoon. Most recently, a group met throughout during the fall of 2023 in study and reflection on the Gospel of St. John. Our guided discussion was led by Tina Syrell. Through guidance from the presenter/group leader such as Tina, prospective attendees generally choose a study topic and agree on day/time to meet until the topic is finished, and then they take a break. Through study and discussion, participants experience new biblical understandings that touch their minds and hearts in order to enter into a deeper relationship with God.
